Merle's inspiration comes predominantly from the natural world. Merle uses various contemporary sound techniques coupled with traditional world styles to create a unique immersive soundscape that resembles ambient fantasy/sci-fi film and game soundtracks. These soundtracks can be consumed in a variety of ways; including advertising, audio visual art practice, multimedia and even for table-top RPGs such as Dungeons and Dragons. Merle can create bespoke music for individuals, characters, places and concepts.
